Why do I need a broker to buy on Copart.com?
Each state has different licensing requirements for buying titled and repairable vehicles. Check a state’s licensing requirements to see if you need to use a Broker to purchase a vehicle in that state.
All Basic and Premier Members can bid on Copart’s No License Required inventory. If you don’t have a business license and you want to bid on vehicles that require a license, you will need a broker to facilitate the bid and purchase. CarProxy is a Copart partner broker that allows non licensed users to bid on any vehicle.

How to get started with CarProxy?
Click Register to start the process. You will be required to provide documentation and a deposit to start bidding.
How to request a deposit refund?
You can request your deposit be returned to you by navigating to the "Deposit" page in your account on CarProxy and clicking "Request Refund" or by emailing [email protected]. In order for the request to be approved you must be in good standing with your account having no outstanding balance due. Please note: I you paid for your deposit VIA credit card, the process fee portion is non-refundable.
