Our Rules & Policies are intended to provide a comprehensive understanding of the bidding and purchasing process through CarProxy, LLC. Along with our Terms and Conditions, these Rules & Policies govern your use of our Services and establish the terms of your participation. It is your responsibility to review and understand all applicable Rules & Policies before placing a bid to ensure awareness of the auction process and the "as is" condition of the vehicles available for purchase.CarProxy, LLC operates solely as a marketplace broker for Copart.com and does not make any representations, warranties, or guarantees regarding the quality or condition of vehicles listed on our platform. You are strongly encouraged to conduct a thorough inspection of any vehicle before placing a bid or completing a purchase. Only the deposit can be paid for with a Credit Card. All other payments must be made via ACH or Wire. You receive a notification when your deposit has been accepted. Credit card deposits are the fastest way to get into a Copart seat. You can also use ACH or Wire / Bank Transfers for deposits but ACH is a 4 day settlement, and Wire’s take 1 to 2 business days.Deposit Refunds
We process all deposit refunds as soon as possible however the merchant services can take up to 10 days to validate and process deposit returns. Any minor fees may be taken from the deposit before your deposit refund is processed. In the event of vehicle nonpayment, your deposit will be used for the relist fee. 10% of purchase price or $600, whichever is greater.Vehicle Purchase, Copart Fees, CarProxy Fees, and all other fees
For vehicle purchases, we only accept ACH or Wire only (No Credit Cards). To avoid fees, initiate your payment the same day you win your Copart lot. CarProxy will notify the buyer, using your registered email address with CarProxy, when an invoice is added, and when the payment is received. Additional fees informationIf the payment is not received within three days, including the day of purchase, a late fee of $50 per vehicle will be added to your invoice. You may also incur additional storage fees. Storage rates may vary by location and can be found on the Locations pages.Vehicle Release
As soon as your payment is confirmed you will receive a notification of “invoice paid”.If payment is received before 4:00 PM EST, the vehicle payment will be processed the same day. Any payments received after 4:00 PM EST will be processed the next business day.You must have an appointment to pick up your vehicle from the Copart yard.Arrange the payment and pickup of your vehicle within three days from the day of sale to avoid incurring storage fees.
